NEW style of Bead Lock to better secure your 'O' Rings to your rim in either Stainless Steel (available here) or Titanium (elsewhere on this site).

These Beads will hold your rubber O Ring in place by containing them in a cavity, not letting them distort as you wind the Bead into the rim.

You can see in the close up picture of the rim, there is just a very small opening between the actual Bead and the rim. We recommend this as if you screw the bead to the rim, it will gouge the rim and may distort the O Ring inside.

The main improvements with these Beads;
* A full cavity underneath the Bead head to contain the O Ring.
* We have made the head of the Bead flatter to get away from errant front bumpers during racing.
* We then made the Bead head wider to better accommodate the O Ring and secure better.
* Then we made the 3mm Hex into the head of the Bead deeper, where as the stock units were 1.9mm deep, the Flash Beads are 3.4mm deep.
* We also went to a slightly thicker O Ring for sealing purposes....BUT, if push comes to shove and your at the track in trouble, the older smaller O Ring previously used will get you out of trouble.

- We also recommend using the Twirler rather than a ratchet or a palm held ratchet as that would generate a lot of force...(Stainless Steel into Aluminium) where the Twirler gives you a feel of the tension without over tightening and pinching/squeezing the O Ring (as the original problem).

The FLASH Bead Kit comes with 12 Bead Locks including Orings.

STAINLESS STEEL......and able to be used in KA and other sanctioned events!

PLUS; We also made these FLASH Beads in Titanium. Kits are available on this site as well. (For the Titanium Bead Locks, check your Racing Organization for Legality).
